After one‑year efforts, Huayou Precursor (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. has officially obtained the Surat Kelayakan Operasional (SK SLO), the flue‑gas emission permit issued by Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MOEF). This permit represents the highest‑level official recognition of Huayou’s environmental compliance capacity and clean‑production system. It also serves as a new green benchmark for Huayou’s localised layout in Indonesia, fully demonstrating the Group’s firm commitment to green‑driven development and deep‑rooted operations in the Indonesian market.
The successful granting of the SK SLO permit marks a major achievement for Huayou Precursor (Indonesia) in both compliant operation and environmental protection in Indonesia. Since the project kicked off, the company has aligned itself with both international and Indonesian environmental standards and invested in advanced flue‑gas treatment facilities. In June 2025, it formally submitted an application for operational‑feasibility acceptance to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia. Following a full year of painstaking work, it passed the on‑site inspection in one go. Every step from application preparation to permit acquisition was taken with steady prudence, culminating in this rewarding outcome.
Building on this new milestone, the company will continue to strictly abide by Indonesia’s local environmental laws and regulations. It will further refine its environmental‑management system to higher standards and continuously optimise emission‑control technologies. Huayou will contribute solid momentum to the sound coexistence of industrial growth and local ecological conservation, support in‑depth China‑Indonesia energy‑sector cooperation, and advance the development of the green Belt and Road Initiative.
