Huayou Chengdu B&M and Zhejiang B&M Selected for MIIT's List of Enterprises Compliant with Lithium-ion Battery Industry Standard Conditions

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the national government announced the ninth batch of enterprises conforming to the "Lithium-Ion Battery Industry Normative Conditions." A total of 36 enterprises nationwide were selected, and both Chengdu Bamo Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Bamo Technology Co., Ltd., under Huayou New Energy Industry Group, were simultaneously selected. Previously, Tianjin Bamo Technology Co., Ltd. was already selected in the first batch of the normative conditions in 2016, marking the industry group's national-level recognition for standardized development and comprehensive strength in the lithium battery industry.

The "Lithium-Ion Battery Industry Normative Conditions," also known as the "Lithium Battery White List," is an important guidance document formulated by MIIT to guide industry technology progress and standardized development. It plays a key role in strengthening industry management and promoting industrial structure upgrading. Its evaluation results have also become an important basis for mainstream customers to assess the comprehensive strength of enterprises.

This selection underwent multiple levels of assessment including municipal recommendation, provincial review, and national-level substantive re-evaluation. The evaluation scope covered various aspects of enterprises including industrial layout, production and operation, process level, product performance, safety and quality management, resource comprehensive utilization, ecological environmental protection, and social responsibility fulfillment.

The simultaneous selection of these two enterprises highlights the technological accumulation and management level of the New Energy Industry Group in the lithium-ion battery field.
