In October 2026, Huayou Cobalt’s total bond issuance for the year exceeded RMB 10 billion, ranking third among private enterprises in Zhejiang Province.
Bond financing is an important way for the capital market to support the real economy. It also helps companies reduce financing costs, optimize debt structures and strengthen financial security. This milestone reflects Huayou Cobalt’s continued efforts to expand bond financing channels and optimize its financing structure. It also demonstrates the company’s overall strength in the direct financing market.
●Continued Optimization of Debt Maturity Structure. By issuing medium- and long-term sci-tech innovation bonds, Huayou Cobalt has extended its debt maturity profile. Medium- and long-term bonds now account for more than 50% of the company’s total bond financing, significantly improving the stability of its debt structure.
●Continued Reduction in Financing Costs. Bond issuance costs have decreased by more than 30% since the beginning of 2026, remaining significantly below the interest rates on regular loans issued over the same period. This continues to provide the company with access to high-quality funding at lower costs.
●Growing Market Influence. Bonds carrying the sci-tech innovation label demonstrate the company’s confidence and commitment to innovation-driven development. Huayou Cobalt has also achieved several firsts in the regional bond market, including Zhejiang Province’s first green sci-tech innovation bond, Jiaxing’s first batch of sci-tech innovation notes, Jiaxing’s first batch of sci-tech innovation bonds, and Jiaxing’s first debt financing instrument registration project under the DFI unified registration framework. These achievements reflect the company’s continued leadership in the regional bond market.
Looking ahead, Huayou Cobalt will continue to make effective use of bond financing instruments and build on its strengths in maintaining a stable debt structure with low financing costs and favorable maturities. This will provide solid financial support for the company’s development strategy of “overseas resources, international manufacturing and global markets.”
