Europe, as a crucial new energy market globally, is a strategic high ground for achieving global breakthroughs — and an inevitable choice in Huayou's global strategy despite its challenging path. Stringent construction standards in developed countries, complex compliance systems, and significant differences in local rhythms, combined with multiple challenges in labor and policy regulation, have caused many Chinese-funded overseas projects to encounter delays and stagnation.

Faced with these challenges, the Huayou Hungary project strictly adhered to European rules and overcame difficulties, creating "Huayou Speed" through action. Since the commencement in December 2023, the main plant's column lifting was completed in just half a year; the structural topping-out of the main plant was achieved in May of the following year, two months ahead of schedule. In 2025, multiple supporting facilities were completed, and current production line debugging work is nearing completion. At the same time, the project efficiently handled various compliance procedures including building permits and labor group permits. Government-enterprise-social relations are harmonious. Despite tightening EU policies, the project still obtained Hungary's national special subsidy, advancing from "China's Huayou" to "World's Huayou" through compliant operations, efficient construction, and diversified guarantees.

Opening up is the essential path for Huayou's entrepreneurship and innovation. Currently, the ratio of Chinese to Hungarian staff working at the project site is approximately 3:1. Language is the first bridge to connecting with each other. Chinese staff actively and proactively learn Hungarian, deeply understanding local customs, business etiquette, and communication habits. In communications with government and community, partners, and local colleagues, they demonstrate respect and inclusiveness, integrating into the local society with a sincere attitude of open learning.

To continuously strengthen the project's local credibility in Hungary and practice the investment philosophy of "wherever we invest, we contribute to the local economy and society," with ESG as the core, we conducted in-depth discussions with stakeholders, invited community residents to visit the site, and actively engaged in local public welfare activities, laying the foundation for smooth project progress and social recognition. The company was honored with Hungary's HIPA 2024 New Investor Award, and in 2025 became the first Chinese enterprise in Hungary to receive dual certification in compliance management and anti-bribery systems, integrating a strong Huayou brand image.
