Recently, Arcadia Technology Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt, has officially obtained the ISO 37301 Compliance Management System Certification issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI). It becomes Africa’s first lithium‑sulfate producer to earn this certification.

Following Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe, this accreditation marks another key milestone in compliance‑system development for Huayou’s Zimbabwe base. It further demonstrates Huayou’s standardized, compliant and international‑grade ESG governance capabilities for overseas operations.

At the certification award ceremony, Mr. Hu Han, Director of Customer Experience for BSI China, spoke highly of the compliance practices implemented at Huayou’s Zimbabwe base. He noted that amid a complex and fluid global economic‑trade landscape, compliance has become a core requirement for multinational enterprises operating overseas. By proactively aligning with the ISO 37301 international standard and rolling out compliance‑system building across its overseas sites, Huayou Cobalt has fully demonstrated its resolve to embrace international compliance‑management norms and deepen its presence in global markets.

This certification represents authoritative recognition of Huayou’s ESG governance maturity.
