Recently, at the 2nd UNGC Global Summit on High-Quality Belt and Road Cooperation by Global Enterprises (Singapore), Huayou Cobalt, Youshan Technology and 16 other global mining and industry-chain companies jointly launched the "Joint Initiative on Global Mining Sustainable Development (GMSA)."

Guided by the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Initiative focuses on three major pillars — green transition, community co-building, and good governance and compliance — calling for the advancement of green mining development, low-carbon technology upgrades and ecological restoration; the strengthening of human rights protection and supply chain due diligence; and the improvement of corporate governance and information disclosure mechanisms.

   As a key player in the new energy lithium battery materials industry, Huayou has always adhered to a green, low-carbon and circular development path, embedding the concept of sustainable development throughout the industry chain — from resource development and materials manufacturing to recycling. The Company continuously advances cleaner production, comprehensive utilization of resources, ecological and environmental protection, and responsible supply chain management.
